Echo of Time
A different way to hear a place.
FES Originals
About this project
Echo of Time brings DJ sets to Dutch heritage sites. Music and place come together, with the history of the location as part of the context.
The location is not a backdrop.
Architecture, space and music each get attention. A set in a historic building sounds different: the acoustics, the light and the story of the place all play a part.
Heritage to listen to.
Heritage is usually something you look at. Echo of Time asks what happens when you listen to it too. And what happens when music brings people to places they might not otherwise visit.
